{"id":2679,"date":"2013-09-14T10:27:56","date_gmt":"2013-09-14T14:57:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/skatox.com\/blog\/?p=2679"},"modified":"2023-03-01T14:56:09","modified_gmt":"2023-03-01T19:56:09","slug":"ponencia-de-john-carmack-en-el-quakecon-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/skatox.com\/blog\/2013\/09\/14\/ponencia-de-john-carmack-en-el-quakecon-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Ponencia de John Carmack en el Quakecon 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Una de mis conferencias favoritas de todo el a\u00f1o es la de John Carmack (creador de Quake, Doom, Wolfeinstein) en el Quakecon,\u00a0 porque suele hablar de la industria de los videojuegos y las futuras tecnolog\u00edas desde el punto de vista de un programador. Sus charlas siempre suelen muy largas, mayores a 2 horas y aunque no entiendo mas de la mitad de lo que habla, siempre es interesante aprender lo poco que se entiende.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Este a\u00f1o habl\u00f3 sobre el futuro de los videojuegos, el piensa que es importante como el usuario interact\u00faa con el juego y por ello empieza a comparar el PS Move con Kinect, para \u00e9l ambas soluciones no son tan buenas como la realidad virtual usando un casco y como est\u00e1 invirtiendo en el desarrollo de estos dispositivos porque para \u00e9l, es el futuro a seguir. De las consolas de la siguiente generaci\u00f3n no quiso hablar porque no ha programado para ella por los momentos. Como defensor de OpenGL habla como ha logrado triunfar y estar en varios dispositivos, de hecho, como ahora cualquier tel\u00e9fono celular soporta esta tecnolog\u00eda y la posibilidad crear juegos en OpenGL para disfrutar en cualquier lugar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Como programador, hace una discusi\u00f3n entre la programaci\u00f3n est\u00e1tico contra la din\u00e1mica. Dice preferir la est\u00e1tica por el poder que tiene y el control sobre cualquier aspecto del programa, pues en el din\u00e1mico se siente limitado con muchas cosas sobre todo en la optimizaci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n compara Nvidia con AMD, el dice preferir Nvidia por sus innovaciones y herramientas para los desarrolladores, pero realza que el equipo de personas que trabaja en AMD ha venido haciendo un buen trabajo.<\/p>\n<div class=\"lyte-wrapper\" title=\"John Carmack Keynote -
